"Teenage Girlhood" is a series of 35mm snapshots based on the essence of how it feels to be young, beautiful, and full of life.

I know what it’s like to be surrounded by hundreds of voices around you but still feel alone.

Taking risks in hoping it will bring you a sense of purpose in this world.

The first drag of a cigarette.

Or the first taste of intoxication the moment the smoke and your lips touch.

I know what it’s like to be in love with the idea of being in love. And desperately falling deeply into the arms of someone else.

Falling.

Drowning.

Drowning in all of these moments of self-awakening.

But we risk the melancholy for the times we feel the blueness of the sky and hear the rays of sunlight kissing the paleness of our skin.

Isn’t it so tragically beautiful to be young and vulnerable?
